Balance (BSV)

A plain BSV payment to any address. Change returns to this wallet. To sign offline, Export here, then use steps 2–3 in Advanced below.

Receive address BSV ONLY
Public key (give this to senders)

⚠️ Send only Bitcoin SV (BSV) to your address above. BTC, BCH and other coins share this address format but live on a different blockchain — they will not arrive in this wallet.

Anyone with these 12 words controls this wallet. They restore everything on any device.

Restoring rebuilds your wallet and recovers your purchases from chain — works on any browser or device.

Loads holdings + balance by public key with no private key on this device. Use it as the online half of an air-gapped setup: view, export unsigned requests, and broadcast — signing stays on your offline machine.

💰 Earn referrals — your Buy BSV link

Paste your SimpleSwap referral link (or ref-code). When someone opens a sales page you shared and taps 💵 Buy BSV, they get BSV via SimpleSwap under your code and you earn the commission (its two-tier even pays you on referrers you bring in). Leave blank to use the app default. Your code rides on every link you share.

⚙ Advanced — air-gapped signing

Sign edition transfers/burns on a permanently-offline machine. The online box exports an unsigned request, the offline box (which holds your key) signs it, and the online box broadcasts the signed transaction. Only files cross the gap — your seed phrase never does. See the air-gap guide in docs/AIR_GAPPED.md.

1 · Export an unsigned request online box
2 · Sign offline offline box — holds your key
3 · Broadcast signed online box

Creates TX1 (template, the Collection ID) then TX2 (genesis editions). Requires funds on your address.

Publish content people can buy their own copy of. Every copy automatically pays you a publisher fee and pays the seller a royalty — enforced on-chain, with no marketplace in the middle. Fill in the details below to mint your collection.

Unlimited: a covenant edition anyone can replicate — every copy pays you + the reseller on-chain, no marketplace needed.

A second storefront image (front + back). Separate from the audio's embedded art — this is the art that sells the NFT.

Each edition rides on this many sats; the owner reclaims them by burning. Higher = stronger price floor (and pricier gifts); set low (e.g. 1) for free-content drops.

Pick several files to publish a multi-track album/EP as one NFT — they play inline in the viewer. Number them 01…, 02… to set the track order. The licence is baked into the mint and cannot change later. To loosen terms, re-mint. (Optional.)

Any buyer can later Replicate an edition (returns the NFT to the holder, mints their own copy, pays both fees). Transfer moves it owner-signed, re-creating the covenant.

🖼️ Product mockup cover — optional

Attach a Pole Position .bmc bundle to mint this design as a product — your design composited on a mug, tee, tote… The Type (Unlimited = covenant, Limited, Exclusive), fees, bond, licence and encryption above all apply. The design in the bundle becomes the content + preview cover; the prop is minted once and reused by txid. Big Red renders the composited cover.

With a bundle attached, the Mint button above mints the mockup product (the file/cover pickers above are ignored — the bundle supplies both).

⚠️ Only send to another smartnfts.com / Phar Lap-compatible wallet. NFTs and editions are PushDrop covenant tokens — an ordinary BSV wallet won't recognize one, and the item could be unrecoverable.

Enter a recipient public key above, then click Send on the NFT you want to transfer.

📊 Sales

Counts & earnings are at point of purchase (replications); onward transfers aren’t visible. Periods are approximate (by block height). Capped to the most recent transactions.

Members-only discussion for each collection you hold — you see posts from the creator and everyone up your lineage; post to your line and your downstream sees it.

Self-chosen and not unique — your key is the real identity (hover any @name to see it). It rides on the messages you send.

Published once to your own address (small one-time fee, downscaled automatically); updating replaces it. Until you publish one, everyone sees your key-derived identicon.

Messages are delivered on-chain to the recipient's pubkey (encrypted by default). A message can carry text, a file, or a content key — the basis for paid encrypted content.

📣 Public announcements from the publishers of collections you hold. Pulled on demand — nothing is pushed to you, and you stay anonymous to the publisher. (To send announcements, open a collection you published in My NFTs and use 📣 Broadcast.)

🔑 First, back up your wallet. Open the Wallet tab, reveal your 12-word seed phrase, and write it down somewhere safe and private. It’s the only way to restore your wallet and funds on another device or after clearing your browser — and anyone who has it controls your wallet, so never share it.

What is SMART NFTs?

A self-custodial wallet for publishing content as collectible editions on Bitcoin SV. You publish something once; anyone with your link can buy their own copy in a single click. The rules — your publisher fee and the resale split — are enforced by the network itself. There's no account and no server: your wallet lives in this browser, everything else lives on-chain.

Quick start

  1. Back up your wallet. In Wallet, reveal your 12-word seed phrase and write it down somewhere safe — it restores everything on any device. (A raw WIF is also shown as an equivalent backup.)
  2. Add a little BSV. Send a small amount to your address (shown in Wallet) — you need it to publish and to buy.
  3. Publish an edition. In Publish, set a name, cover, description, an optional file, and a price model, then mint.
  4. Share it. Your edition appears in My NFTs — click Sales page to open its public link, then Share it anywhere.
  5. Get paid. Anyone who opens the link presses Get a copy and owns one instantly; you (the publisher) and the current holder are paid automatically, on-chain.

Using each tab

💰 Wallet

Your keys, balance, and backup.

  1. Check your balance — click Refresh balance.
  2. Receive BSV — send funds to your Address (you need a little to publish or buy).
  3. Share your identityCopy public key to give to anyone sending you NFTs or messages.
  4. Back up — reveal your 12-word seed phrase, write it down, keep it secret. Anyone with it controls the wallet; lose it with no backup and the wallet can't be recovered. (The WIF is shown too as an equivalent backup.)
  5. Restore / recover — enter your words in Restore from seed phrase (or a WIF in Restore from WIF) → Restore; your holdings and purchases rebuild from chain.
  6. New wallet — makes a fresh wallet and shows its new seed phrase to write down (back up the current one first — it gets replaced). Note: wallets imported from a WIF have no seed phrase.

🪪 Identity & contacts

Make keys human — names, faces, and a recoverable address book.

  • Your alias — set @you; it rides with your messages/posts. Aliases aren't unique (the pubkey is the real identity — hover any name to see it), and every key also gets a unique identicon so a faked name looks different.
  • Profile — publish an alias + small avatar once; others resolve your name + face by key.
  • 📇 Contacts — save, rename and confirm people; your labels win over self-claimed names.
  • ☁ Back up config — posts an encrypted-to-you copy of your contacts + alias + prefs to your own address; it auto-restores (and merges, newest-wins) when you Restore from WIF on a new device. Note: deletes don't sync yet.

📤 Publish

Create editions of your content for anyone to buy.

  1. Enter a collection name and description, and add a cover image (what buyers see).
  2. Pick a pricing model: Fixed fees (flat publisher + holder fee in sats, min 1 each), or Percentage (publisher takes a % of a reseller-set price).
  3. Set the bond per edition — a small refundable deposit (default 2100 sats) that rides with each copy and is reclaimable by burning. Gives every copy a price floor; pick a low bond for free drops, higher for premium.
  4. Set how many editions to mint now, and optionally embed a file — tick Encrypt to make it holders-only.
  5. Click Mint edition collection (needs a little BSV). Your new editions appear in My NFTs.

🎴 My NFTs

Everything you hold, and what you can do with each item. Sort by recent or publisher, and toggle list/grid. Each card shows the publisher's avatar/name — tap ✉ Message to DM them.

  • Sell / share — click Sales page on an edition to open its public buy link, then Share it anywhere.
  • Replicate — mint yourself another copy of an edition.
  • Transfer / Send — paste the recipient's public key at the top, then Transfer (editions) or Send (plain NFTs) to hand it over.
  • 🔥 Burn — destroy a copy you hold and reclaim its bonded sats to your wallet (irreversible).
  • OPEN — view the embedded content (decrypts automatically if you're a holder).
  • Verify — prove on-chain that an item is a genuine edition of its collection.
  • 🎁 Gift (any copy you hold) — create pre-funded links anyone can claim for free; 📥 Gift links recovers them and ♻ Reclaim gifts sweeps unclaimed ones back. A claimed gift nets the publisher ≈ the bond + miner fee; a reseller additionally pre-pays the publisher's cut (marketing spend) — the prompt shows your exact net before you fund.
  • 🤝 Onboard partner — transfer a copy to a listing/curation site's public key. The site then holds it and resells it, earning the reseller fee on every sale it drives, while you keep earning your publisher fee — and you get a ready-made listing link to hand over. (The site needs no live wallet; it earns passively.)
  • Publisher tools (on collections you published): 📣 Broadcast an announcement to all holders, and 👥 Buyers to list buyers and message them.
  • Check incoming / recover — scan the chain for items sent to you, or rebuild your holdings after restoring a WIF.

📊 Sales

Your sales picture, from one scan of your own history.

  • Stats — sales of your mints, total earned (sats + BSV), your resales and unique buyers, each with a this-month figure.
  • As creator — every collection you publish: total sales, earnings, and the full buyer list per collection.
  • As reseller — items you resold: your direct buyers and earnings.
  • Expand a collection to DM a buyer or Message all. 🔄 Refresh re-scans.
  • Figures are at point of purchase (onward transfers aren't visible); periods are approximate.

💬 Threads

A members-only discussion along each collection's lineage (who bought from whom, back to the creator).

  • Open a collection's room to read your corridor: posts from the creator and everyone up your line, plus — passively — posts from your downline.
  • Post to your line (your downstream sees it), reply to an upline, or — if you're the publisher — 📣 everyone.
  • Authors carry un-spoofable badges: 👑 creator, 🌱 original holder, ✓ holder (derived from the real lineage).

✉️ DMs

Private, encrypted on-chain notes or files to another person's public key.

  1. Paste the recipient's public key (or hit ✉ Message on a card / buyer to pre-fill it).
  2. Write your message and optionally attach a file.
  3. Leave Encrypt to the recipient ticked for a private, authenticated message.
  4. Click Send message — it's delivered on-chain to their key. Click Check messages to read your inbox.
  5. Bulk send (from 👥 Buyers / Sales): message several at once — a personalized mail-merge with %buyer%, %publisher%, %product% wildcards (one transaction each).

📣 Updates

Public announcements from the publishers of collections you hold.

  • As a holder: click Check for updates to pull the latest announcements from every collection you own. Nothing is pushed — you choose when to look, and stay anonymous to the publisher.
  • As a publisher: open a collection you published in My NFTs and click 📣 Broadcast — one message reaches every current holder, however far your editions have resold, for the cost of a single transaction.
  • Announcements are public (anyone can read them). For anything private, use DMs or holders-only encrypted content.

How selling works

Editions are "unlimited mints": a buyer doesn't take your copy — they mint their own copy from yours, permissionlessly, while you keep yours. Each copy can then be a source for the next buyer. Two price models:

  • Fixed fees — a flat publisher fee + holder fee (in satoshis), paid on every copy.
  • Percentage — the publisher takes a fixed % of the sale price; the reseller keeps the rest. The split is computed and enforced by the covenant on every sale.

Backups & recovery

Your only secret is your WIF. If you lose this browser's data, paste the WIF into Wallet → Restore from WIF on any device to rebuild your holdings and purchases straight from the blockchain. If you lose the WIF with no backup, the wallet can't be recovered — so back it up.

Air-gapped (cold) signing

Keep your private key on a permanently-offline machine and still transact. Only files cross the gap — the key never does. It works for plain BSV payments and edition transfers / burns. Two machines:

  • Offline (cold) box — a device with no network that holds your wallet (its seed phrase / WIF). It only signs.
  • Online (watch) box — an internet-connected device that holds no key. It views your holdings, exports unsigned requests, and broadcasts signed ones.

One-time setup: on the offline box, open the app and create/restore your wallet, then copy its public key (Wallet tab — it's not a secret). On the online box, go to Wallet → 👁 Watch a wallet, paste that public key, and tap Watch. The online box now shows your balance and holdings with every signing button hidden.

To send (the 3-step loop):

  1. Export (online box). Fill in ⚡ Send BSV (or pick an edition under ⚙ Advanced — air-gapped signing) and tap Export for offline signing →. It downloads a …airgap-request.json file. Move it to the offline box (USB stick).
  2. Sign (offline box). Open Wallet → ⚙ Advanced → 2 · Sign offline, import the request file, check the summary, and tap Sign & export signed tx →. It downloads a signed-tx file. Move that back to the online box.
  3. Broadcast (online box). Open ⚙ Advanced → 3 · Broadcast signed, import (or paste) the signed file, and tap Broadcast →. Done — the payment is on-chain.

The signer only ever produces the exact transaction the online wallet described, and refuses anything its key doesn't own. Use a fresh, dedicated USB, and never type your seed phrase / WIF into an online device. Full guide: docs/AIR_GAPPED.md.

FAQ

Do buyers need an account? No — anyone with a funded wallet buys from a link in one click. No sign-up, no server.
What does a copy cost? The price the publisher set, plus a tiny network (miner) fee. The Sales page shows the exact split before you confirm.
Is my file private?Tick Encrypt when publishing and only holders can open it. It's an inconvenience to non-holders, not hard DRM.
What's the bond?A small refundable deposit that rides with each edition (default 2100 sats). It gives every copy a price floor and is reclaimed by burning the copy — it's not a fee, nobody keeps it.
Can I see who bought my work?Yes — 👥 Buyers on a collection, or the 📊 Sales tab for everything at once, and you can DM them. It's buyers at point of sale; onward transfers aren't visible to you.
What are Threads?A members-only discussion scoped to a collection's lineage — you see the creator and everyone up/down your line, with un-spoofable creator/holder badges.
Are my contacts safe if I switch devices?Use ☁ Back up in 📇 Contacts. It's encrypted to your own key and auto-restores when you Restore from WIF.
Can I keep my key offline?Yes — see Air-gapped (cold) signing above. The online device runs watch-only (no key); a permanently-offline device signs. Only files cross between them.
Can I earn when buyers fund their wallet?Yes. In Wallet → 💰 Earn referrals, save your SimpleSwap referral link. It rides on every sales page you share, so buyers who tap 💵 Buy BSV get BSV under your code and you earn the commission.
Why does it say experimental? The covenant tech is new and runs on real mainnet BSV — use small amounts while it's being proven.
